Genital Warts in Men Tip #1
There is some
ongoing research into a vaccine for men against HPV. It’s still in the early stages and it may be several years
before it’s actually ready. However, this vaccine will not cure HPV if you are already infected. Take measures
to prevent contracting genital warts from your partner, at least until there is a vaccine available for
men.
Genital Warts in Men Tip #2
Cryotherapy is
one of the recommended treatments for genital warts. It is usually done in a physician’s office and requires the
use of liquid nitrogen to freeze the wart. There are some over-the-counter products available that use this
method of treatment, but it is firmly suggested that you have your doctor perform the
procedure.
Genital Warts in Men Tip #3
There is no cure for genital warts. You can pass it on to your partner or you may contract it from your partner.
The best course of action is for both you and your partner to get tested for HPV before you engage in sexual
activity.
