Understanding genital herpes in men
Today’s world has become more and more sexually active than that of any previous generations that have walked
the earth. Thus, there have been reported numerous cases of venereal diseases and the sad thing is that there are
more and more youngsters contacting them as well. Venereal diseases are often transmitted through sexual
intercourse when the partners do not use any kind of protection and thus engage in unprotected sex. If one of the
partners is infected with a type of venereal disease, then the other will also get it. If you are a man, then
having such a disease is something not only embarrassing, but it can also affect you psychologically very much. One
of the most common venereal diseases is genital herpes men.
This is also called the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV2) and after you have contracted it you will have some bad
eruptions in the genital area. The bad thing about this is that if you have contracted it once, you will be living
with it until the end of days as you will have it for life, because there aren’t any types of medication to have it
completely removed from the body. Thus, the only time the virus will be active is when an outbreak will be
triggered. If you are curious how often the outbreaks can occur, well, they can be as often as 2 or 3 times a month
or a few times a year.
This type of virus though is much more common that many of today’s people will most likely think it is. Thus,
depending on the country you live in, the average rate of people who are infected with the virus can be even 1 in 5
people, which is a lot.
Thus, if you are a man you should be careful in what country you are currently living and whom you are engaging
into sexual intercourse with. If you detect it in time, you will most certainly be able to live a normal life by
getting the right treatment for it.
However, not everyone will have the same symptoms when it comes to genital male herpes because they vary from one person to another.
On top of that, there will be many persons as well that will be showing no clear evidence of the disease. But if
they show no clear evidence of the disease, having one of these symptoms below they will most certainly be able to
find out if they are the carriers of the virus or not.
- Flu associated symptoms, like headache, tired or sore limbs, fatigue, dizziness and fever.
- Itching and tingling on the genital area and on the penis
- Blisters or outbreaks of bumps on the genital area or on the penis. Their size can be that of a pimple or
it can even get to be the size of a coin. But have no worry as the blisters will eventually seep and then
disappear in a few days.
- A burning sensation or pain during urination
- Swollen glands or lymph nodes in the groin
If you don’t want to deal with genital herpes men, then you should be careful to have protected
sex. You will soon understand that this way you will not only be protected from herpes, but other undesired
diseases and even an unwanted pregnancy.
Tip 1: Carefully choose your sex partners. Do not risk your health for few minutes pleasure.
Tip 2: Use adequate protection (condoms).
Tip 3: Reduce the number of sex partners. Be loyal and be safe.
